Thank you to everyone that booked and joined us for Pick Your Own Pumpkins this year. We hope you all had a great time and we really appreciate your support. The maize from the maze will now be cut and harvested ready to be made into winter cattle feed.
The potato harvest is now completed, so we are settling into the winter routine of grading them out of the store to ensure a good supply for the Farm Shop over the winter months.
In our Farm Shop we are now selling large sacks of homegrown onions and potatoes, bulk buy and save money! Our homegrown sprouts are also coming along nicely and will soon be for sale, make sure to put them on your shopping list for your Christmas dinner!
Next on the farm job’s list is to make a start on ploughing the fields ready for next year’s crops. When we have any additional spare time we will continue with fruit pruning, hedge trimming and general winter maintenance.
